Delivery

Your Finnmark Designs sauna will come in (3) boxes strapped to a pallet. After unpacking your new sauna you will need to dispose of the pallet, boxes and packaging material. The boxes and pallet can be broken down for ease of disposal.   NOTE: The delivery drivers will not take the pallet or empty boxes with them.  

Our main distribution warehouse is located in Southern California. Upon request we can schedule a will call pickup. At times we sell scratch and dent saunas from our Nevada warehouse locally.   Please discuss a will call pickup with your health representative. 

12/15/2020 Update: We are seeing longer than usual wait times at the ports due to Holiday shipments. Please be advised some shipments are 4-7 days behind schedule.  12/21/2020 Update: Local LTL transit is extremely backed up with the holiday season. Our staff is working overtime, past 8pm everyday to be available for trucking company pickups. Finnmark staff will be working on December 24th until 3pm, December 25th off and full workday on December 26th.

Finnmark Designs saunas are shipped via freight with a liftgate. It's considered curbside delivery, although the driver will generally use a pallet jack to bring the sauna into your garage. There could be times the driver would refuse to do this; long driveway, gravel driveway, stairs, steap grade etc.   For liability reasons, the drivers will not bring the sauna inside your home. Finnmark Designs offers white glove service on a case by case basis.

All Finnmark Design's saunas are shipped via a pallet by our network of LTL carriers. Your sauna will be palletized, wrapped and secured before pickup. Once your new sauna is picked up, a BOL (Bill of lading) will be generated. Shipping a pallet is much different than shipping smaller items by small trucks. A sauna can be traced/tracked but the best indication of it arriving to your home is when the local hub receives your sauna and contacts you.

Finnmark has one of the lowest damage rates in the entire sauna industry. On average, we use 30% more packaging material than many of our competitors. Finnmark doesn't control handling or transportation once the sauna leaves our facility. Your Finnmark Designs sauna is shipped via LTL freight on a tractor trailer. Once you receive your BOL (bill of lading) this means your shipment was booked and we are awaiting for the shipping carrier to pick up your shipment. During peak seasons, once a BOL is created it could take 2-3 days before the carrier picks up your shipment. Once the carrier picks up your shipment the load is logged in and signed for.
